Community Involvement
Not all our trucks are green.
Some are pink. Some are blue. Some are even camo-colored. Each represents a cause or institution close to the hearts of a family at Ernst or a family in our community. We are committed to serving the communities in which we live and work, and encourage—and support—our people to get involved in the local, civic and charitable projects of which they are most passionate.
Our multi-colored concrete trucks not only raise awareness for various causes, they also raise money to support them. For every yard of concrete poured by one of our special trucks, we donate $1 to the cause it represents.
In the past five years, we’ve donated nearly $250,000.
Breast Cancer Awareness Trucks
We have five of these, one each in Cincinnati, OH, Bellbrook, OH, Walton, KY, Jefferson, GA and Kennesaw, GA. To date, these trucks have raised more than $190,000.
Spina Bifida Awareness Truck
Look for this mixer around metro Atlanta, GA. To date, it has raised nearly $7,000.

We have two of these vehicles, one in Columbus, OH and one in Kennesaw, GA. They express our gratitude for all those who have served to protect our freedoms.
Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Truck
Look for this concrete mixer around Louisville, KY. To date, it has raised more than $37,000.
Salute to the Men and Women of the United States Air Force Truck
The newest addition to our concrete truck fleet can be spotted around Dayton, OH, raising money to support the USO.
